An established, locally owned, high-volume restaurant in the Lansing area is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our next chapter of growth. This is a confidential search. We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys building great Teams, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and driving financial performance. This is an opportunity to lead a well established business, loyal customer base, and committed ownership group.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead all front-and back- of- house operations.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high performing management team.
- Drive sales growth, while controlling labor and food costs.
- Maintain exceptional standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and food quality.
- Oversee scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
- Foster a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of successful General Manager experience in a high volume, casual dining, sports bar, or full-service hospitality environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams of 50+ employees.
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L management.
- Demonstrated success in developing Managers and reducing turnover.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
