L.E.A.P is now hiring for Teacher Aides and, Assistant Teachers. We currently have multiple positions available in Hudson Falls, Whitehall and Cambridge!
Salary range for Teacher Aides is $17.50-$19.30 based on qualifications.
Salary range for Assistant Teachers is $19.50-21.50 based on qualifications.
As a Teacher’s Aide you will:
- Focus on helping create a safe, clean, healthy, and happy environment for our children.
- Assist in meeting program goals.
- Work individually with children as well as one on one.
- Help facilitate daily schedules, activities, and routines.
As an Assistant Teacher you will:
- Assist in the development and delivery of lessons that are in accordance with the program’s curriculum
- Create positive, child-directed learning environments
- Observe and record an assessment of children’s growth, development, and behavior
- Work in a family atmosphere, as part of a team that goes above and beyond for each other and the children we serve
Qualifications:
- A Valid driver’s license.
- An understanding of young children and low-income families, and an appreciation of parents as the primary educators of their children.
- At least one year of experience working with young children, preferably in an infant/toddler setting.
