The Distribution Center Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities with regard to Safety, Quality, and adherence to policies in our combined 200,000 square-foot Distribution facilities in Lebanon, PA.

Responsibilities:
· Manage a small crew in the safe and efficient execution of the picking, packing, and shipping schedule.
· Manage assembly, reconditioning, packaging, labeling, loading, and unloading operations as required.
· Ensure that all Company, Safety, and regulatory agency procedures are followed by all Company personnel, contractors, drivers, and visitors.
· Ensure that all paperwork is properly filled out.
· Communicate with the DC Manager thoroughly and regularly.
· Maintain high morale through personal discipline, setting an example for excellence, and fair and equal treatment of all team members.
· Make recommendations regarding staff levels, assignments, promotions, and (when required) disciplinary actions.
· Participate in the investigation of Quality issues and in the corrective actions generated by them.
· Maintain clean and organized facilities.
· Participate in the continuous improvement of all Department and Company operations.
Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Ability to communicate fluently in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
· Extensive experience in Shipping, Receiving, and/or Warehouse duties, as outlined above
· Experience leading a team within a warehouse or production environment
· Sit-down and stand-up forklift operating experience and the ability to be certified
· Ability to be on your feet all day and to perform a wide variety of physical activities
