Monument Planet is looking for an experienced part-time Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to assist with warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.
This is a flexible position working approximately one to three days per week. The schedule will be coordinated in advance based on warehouse needs and the employee’s availability.
Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour
Final pay will depend on relevant forklift, warehouse, loading, and delivery experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move granite crates and other products
- Load and unload delivery trucks and shipping containers
- Sort, organize, and place products throughout the warehouse
- Pull and prepare products for customer orders and deliveries
- Inspect products and crates for visible damage
- Verify products and quantities against shipping and receiving paperwork
- Properly position and secure cargo using straps and other load-securing equipment
- Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse maintenance
- Perform routine forklift inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns
- Keep warehouse aisles, loading areas, and equipment clean and organized
- Assist with local deliveries when needed, if qualified
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous forklift operating experience is required
- Previous warehouse experience is strongly preferred
- Experience loading and unloading trucks or shipping containers is preferred
- Experience handling heavy, oversized, or fragile products is helpful
- Ability to safely use pallet jacks, straps, and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow safe operating procedures
- Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work well with others
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Forklift certification is preferred
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a non-CDL delivery truck are a strong plus
