We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Diner Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in a fast-paced diner environment, ensuring high-quality food service and adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation, plating, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or diner setting preferred, especially in fine dining or casual dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols
- Skills in meal preparation, and food presentation
- Proficiency in knife skills, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation
- Background in the food industry including catering, serving, or kitchen experience is advantageous
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
