Job Summary
Join our team at the Mercer County Surgery Center as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in the Intraoperative setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments pre-op and post-op to ensure safe standards of care
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to assess patient conditions accurately
- Implement aseptic/sterile techniques to prevent infections
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Assist in acute pain management strategies
Requirements
- Licensed RN in New Jersey
- BLS/ACLS/PALS
- Previous experience in outpatient surgery center or hospital operating room is a must
Schedule
- Shift begins at 6:30a and runs until procedures and all related follow up tasks are completed.
- We are looking to fill approx 2 shifts/week presently, with likely increase in hours after 10/1/26
