Engineering Intern (L-2026-06)
We are seeking an aspiring engineer to fill an Engineering Intern position. Prior job experience in the engineering field is not required.
Engineering Intern Duties and Responsibilities
- Successful applicants will learn the responsibilities of a professional engineer under the supervision of our more senior employees.
- Assist transportation engineers with tasks involving Structures/Bridge design, highway design, traffic engineering, ITS, Hydrology and Hydraulics, Geotech and transportation safety.
- Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
Engineering Intern Requirements and Qualifications
- Enrollment requirement: Rising Juniors and Seniors
- Current enrollment in an ABET accredited civil engineering program
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and communications skills
