Multiple shift opportunities in a busy production department within a local employer of choice.
Pay Range is $19 DOE
Shift times can change due to production demands:
- 6am-2:30pm
- 6:30am-3pm
- 2:15pm-10:30pm
- 3pm-11pm
This position requires the candidate to move throughout the packaging department including but not limited to machine operation, sanitation and housekeeping. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, and the ability to multi-task while being detail and quality-focused. Also, must be able to work both independently and as a team. The packaging department worker is responsible for running packaging equipment safely and efficiently, loading and unloading bottles from the line and cleaning the general production area.
Job Duties
- Operation of various packaging equipment
- Daily Recording of quality parameters
- Responsible for ensuring quality control specifications are met, controlled, and documented throughout a packaging run
- Maintaining of general housekeeping duties
Job Qualifications
- Experience operating a variety of packaging machines is a bonus
- A proven history of unsupervised, quality work is required
- Attention to detail with critical thinking skills required
- Basic math ability is required
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a repetitive, production work environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, have steel toe boots & have manufacturing experience
