Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining a variety of machinery (Swiss/Mill/Lathe/Manual) to ensure efficient production processes. Your expertise in machine operation, troubleshooting, and quality control will be vital in delivering high-quality products while adhering to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment and contribute to a dynamic production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work order(s)
- Set up and adjust machines for different jobs
- Proving out programs/assisting with programming (at machine or offline)
- Assist in schedule work through the Swiss department
- Must be comfortable with some leadership responsibilities and working as part of team
- Ensuring quality control making sure inspection/checks are complete for all finished parts
- Perform routine maintenance
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Training & supporting other operators/team members when/where necessary
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a CNC Machine Operator or relevant training
- Prior experience running or troubleshooting CNC machines (any experience with Hanwa is great)
- Experience in programming at the machine/offline is a plus but not required. Willing to train those with desire to learn.
- Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Dependable and takes ownership of task and follows through on commitments
- Willingness to learn/continuously develop skills and seek growth opportunities
