We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated pediatric focused Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to children and families experiencing mental health challenges. This role involves working with clients in various settings, including home, community, school and other natural contexts, utilizing both traditional and telehealth methods. The therapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Therapists with valid in-training licensures welcomed!

Duties
- Dedication to Strive Wellness mission statement and values.
- Management of your own schedule.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to offer remote therapy sessions when necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and data collection in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Engage in case management activities to connect clients with additional resources and support services.
- Stay informed about developments in psychopharmacology to effectively discuss medication management with clients when applicable.
- Provide support for special education needs when working with children or adolescents.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.
- Weekly clinical supervision covering your training licensure - paid for and provided.
- Bi-Weekly reflective supervision with Drake Kessler.
- Bi-Weekly reflective team meetings to support case studies, team collaboration and Strive Wellness mission, vision and values alignment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in LPC, LMFT or related field.
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (in-training licensure is okay too).
- Experience in private practice, home visits, or outpatient settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of case management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with special education requirements (not required, preferred).
- Proficient in data collection methods relevant to mental health assessments.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology is beneficial for discussing medication options with clients, not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards within the mental health field.
Education and Experience:
The candidate must have acquired a professional counselor training license or full equivalent and be ready to accrue supervised practice hours for full professional counselor licensure. Strive Wellness will provide supervision from an accredited and approved LPC to fulfill your supervision requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Master’s degree starting wage: $42-44/hour, depending on experience.
- Paid training and onboarding.
- Paid documentation, travel time, mileage reimbursement (IRS rate), and service provision. (An additional $5000 to $10,000 / year above your wage depending on mileage).
- Paid continuing education: Licensure maintenance and passion pursuits.
- Paid training, mentorship, and supervision.
- Ramp-up benefit: Guaranteed hours for first 90-120 days to build a caseload.

Drake Kessler is a licensed occupational therapist - so you must be comfortable patiently reporting, collaborating, communicating and conveying psychotherapy principles and clinical reasoning to a non-counselor business owner.
