About the Role
Astoria Esthetics is seeking an experienced Nurse Injector to join our medical aesthetics team on a per-diem basis.
We are specifically looking for a provider who already has strong hands-on experience performing aesthetic injectable treatments independently and is confident consulting, assessing, treating, documenting, and following up with patients without requiring entry-level injector training.
This is not an entry-level injector position.
The ideal candidate is skilled in facial assessment, neuromodulators, dermal fillers, treatment planning, and patient education, with a strong understanding of facial anatomy and aesthetic safety.
The provider must be consistently available on Saturdays and should also have flexibility to pick up additional per-diem shifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform comprehensive aesthetic consultations and facial assessments
- Develop customized treatment plans based on patient anatomy, goals, and clinical appropriateness
- Administer neuromodulators and dermal fillers within your training, licensure, and scope of practice
- Confidently assess appropriate injection points, dosing, product selection, and treatment approach
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, realistic expectations, aftercare, and follow-up
- Take appropriate before-and-after photographs
- Complete thorough and accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Identify contraindications and appropriately assess candidates for treatment
- Follow all clinical protocols, infection-control standards, and safety procedures
- Provide appropriate post-treatment follow-up and address patient concerns
- Build strong, long-term relationships with patients
- Collaborate with our medical providers, estheticians, and front-desk team
- Recommend complementary aesthetic treatments and skincare when appropriate
- Maintain a professional, polished, and high-quality patient experience
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State nursing license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on aesthetic injecting experience preferred, with substantial independent treating experience required
- Proven experience administering neuromodulators and dermal fillers
- Ability to independently perform aesthetic consultations and create treatment plans
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy, injection technique, and complication prevention
- Experience assessing and treating multiple areas of the face
- Strong understanding of patient selection, contraindications, and aesthetic safety
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Confident, professional, and patient-focused
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Strong documentation and charting skills
- Commitment to continuing education and advanced aesthetic training
Candidates without previous hands-on injecting experience will not be considered for this position.
Schedule & Availability
Consistent Saturday availability is required.
We are looking for someone who can establish a reliable Saturday schedule with Astoria Esthetics while also remaining available for additional per-diem coverage as needed.

Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, injecting background, and existing patient following.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
