We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Customer Service Representative (CSR) with veterinary experience to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between pet owners, veterinary professionals, and our facility, ensuring exceptional customer service while supporting animal care operations. Your veterinary background will enable you to communicate effectively with clients, assist with pet care inquiries, and contribute to a positive experience for both animals and their owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for animals with your customer service skills in a lively, supportive environment. Veterinary experience is a must, and your resume will not be responded to if you do not have those qualifications. Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician who is trying to reduce the hands-on of this type of work, but would still like to stay in the field. We are open to a split between reception and the medical part.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly and assist them with appointment scheduling, check-ins, and inquiries related to pet health and care
- Coordinate with coworkers in order to address voicemails, texts, client communications, and phone calls.
- Provide detailed information on veterinary procedures and products.
- Support veterinary staff by handling administrative tasks such as medical collections and updating patient records accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and critical care procedures
- Experience in simple animal handling.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex veterinary concepts clearly and transparently
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Be willing to help coworkers in order to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule (i.e. Saturdays)
