Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312

Schedule: Full-Time, Fully Onsite
Salary: $60,000 - $67,000 annually

A growing organization in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is a direct hire opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term career growth.
Responsibilities-
Prepare and post journal entries

Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity

Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

Prepare account schedules and supporting documentation

Assist with financial reporting and audit requests

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Work cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve accounting issues
Qualifications-
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

2+ years of accounting experience

Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations

Experience with month-end close activities

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with accounting software and ERP systems preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
