Responsibilities
- Travel to clients’ locations to provide professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual needs (We service Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Clarkston, Lake Orion, Ortonville, Pontiac, Rochester Hills, Troy & Waterford.)
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massages
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and medical history
- Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and overall wellness tips
- Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, client progress, and session notes in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all sessions, including hygiene practices
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license or certification recognized by local licensing boards
- Proven experience with massage therapy techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pain management principles
- Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop effective treatment plans
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Prior experience in med spa or occupational health settings is a plus
