Job Summary
Be part of a winning team! The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott is seeking a Bistro Attendant/Barista to join our team. Guests love our casual dining restaurant and lounge! We need you use your top notch restaurant skills to ensure the Bistro is a success! As our Bistro Attendant/Barista, you will be responsible for providing a complete guest experience: taking food, drink and orders, preparing food from the kitchen.
TIPS Training is preferred but not mandatory.
Weekend and Mid-Week days will be needed as well a mix of AM and PM sifts.
In addition our above average restaurant salary, all tips go to the restaurant staff!
Duties
- Be the face of the Bistro
- Take our guests' food and beverage orders and accurately transfer the information to the back of the house.
- Prepare/Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage items
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards
- Deliver top notch service in the Bistro to our guests
- Use the Bistro POS to account for all purchases
-Prepare quick service food in the kitchen
Requirements
- Proven experience in in the food service industry (e.g., hotel, hospitality)
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Pay: $14.00 per hour
