Pediatric Associates is seeking a Per Diem-time Outpatient Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our practice in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Position Overview:
Provide per diem coverage between St. Lucie North and St. Lucie West, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts in the Palm Beach area
Flexible scheduling available, including:
Morning shifts: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon shifts: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM/7:00 PM
Full-day shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM/7:00 PM
Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical record system
Comprehensive training provided, including three consecutive days (Monday–Wednesday) followed by additional in-office training

Experience in pediatrics as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is required

Experience:
2 years of general pediatric experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is required
Education, Licensure & Certification:
Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified
Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB
Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
