Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activities, and early intervention strategies.
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, early literacy, and motor development in toddlers.
- Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization while fostering independence and curiosity among children.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, behavior management strategies, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, behavior reports, and individualized lesson plans aligned with childhood development standards.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality childcare and educational practices.
- Incorporate Montessori methods and other innovative teaching techniques to enhance learning experiences suited for toddlers.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience in curriculum development with a focus on literacy education, math readiness, physical education, and preschool activities.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and child welfare practices to support diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners effectively.
- Proven ability to plan lessons that meet standardized testing benchmarks while fostering creativity and exploration.
- Classroom experience in daycare settings or private schools emphasizing childhood development best practices.
- Knowledge of Montessori methods and experience integrating them into toddler classrooms is highly desirable. Pay: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour
