Diesel Mechanic – Large Trucks & Heavy Equipment
Signal Technology Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large trucks, heavy equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on large trucks and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic working with large trucks and/or heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and diesel engines.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical schematics.
- Own basic tools; company will provide specialty tools.
- CDL or equipment operation experience is a plus (not required).
- Flexible hours, must be able to respond to calls
