Occupational Therapist Assistant OTA COTA
MUST HAVE THE SPECIFIC ASSOCIATES DEGREE AS AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT COTA, FL PROFESSIONAL LICENSE TO PRACTICE OR ELIGIBLE AS A NEW GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED PROGRAM AND HAVE PASSED OR ELIGIBLE TO TAKE AND PASS THE NBCOT EXAM.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside the Occupational Therapists to develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation.
Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery.
Assist in evaluating the effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress.
Record and document patient care services.
Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current State PTA license.
Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not mandatory if you are a new graduate of an accredited program.
Proven excellent customer service and patient care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
