Q.A.P.I, Solutions LLC, works with CHAP’s and TJC accredited home health agencies that provides in home care to patients. We are currently seeking to expand our team of Data Entry (Medical Assistant) staff. We are looking for a dedicated, responsible, and professional Medical Assistant who is able to perform within their scope of practice in the Home Health Care Industry.
Job Description Summary
The data entry/computer operator is responsible for the timely and accurate entry of a variety of data, including patient information. Assist in daily task of coordinating home care services for managed care patients, including maintaining positive relationships with managed care customers. This position requires Mon-Fri work days.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Accurately enters a variety of data into information systems.
- Assists the functions of billing, payroll, human resource management, and patient care management through timely and accurate data entry and system reporting.
- Verifies accuracy of data entered through use of information systems reports.
- Performs daily backup of information in the system(s).
- Alerts appropriate management team members regarding late or missing documents required for data entry.
- Alerts appropriate members of the information system support personnel to resolve system problems that negatively impact the speed and accuracy of data entry functions.
- Performs other specific projects relating to data entry and computer operations as required.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient and organization information at all times (HIPAA).

Basic Qualifications:
- Complies with acceptable professional standards and practice.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others.
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual
- Intermediate computer skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, Adobe, and Internet Explorer.

- Monday to Friday
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
