Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffees, teas, and smoothies with precision and care
- Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas to adhere to food safety standards
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide friendly service to enhance their experience
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and beverage stations regularly to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
- Follow food handling procedures and safety guidelines to uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing sales totals accurately
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and food safety protocols is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
