We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive electrical knowledge, and the ability to manage and lead crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to code.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise electrical crews of 3 or more electricians.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Install, modify, and maintain EMT conduit systems and associated electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and systems.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical distribution systems.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily job site activities.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity, and job site safety.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure project success.
- Monitor crew performance and provide guidance and training as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Electrical Foreman experience in commercial construction.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and electrical drawings.
- Proven experience installing EMT conduit and commercial electrical systems.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for electrical circuits and equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
- Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). This is a mandatory requirement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate crews of 3 or more employees.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Must have a clean background.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality craftsmanship.
