We are looking for an execution-minded, friendly, and outgoing HR Intern to join our team in Santa Clara. This is a full-time, hourly position designed for someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of startup operations, human resources, admin, and recruiting.
Our team is incredible to work with—expect a 40-hour work week with flexible hours and free daily lunches. Your main mission is to help keep our hiring pipelines moving, keep the office environment up, and assist with managing our candidates and recruiters.
Recruiting & Sourcing Support: Work directly in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidates, post open roles, source potential talent, and schedule interviews or introductory calls for team leads.
On-Site Personnel Management: Help coordinate our on-site interviews with staff. You’ll assist with quick check-ins, tracking daily attendance, collecting basic paperwork, and keeping the schedule organized.
Office Administration & Vibe Control: Keep the office running smoothly. You will coordinate office perks (including planning afternoon teas, team-building dinners, and tracking our free lunch and dinner programs) and manage/tidy essential office supplies.
Basic HR Support: Assist with maintaining basic personnel records, answering general employee questions, and helping onboard new team members.
The Vibe: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and a people-person. You love chatting with candidates and making the office a warm, welcoming space.
Experience: This is an entry-level position with highly approachable expectations. Any experience in HR, recruitment, administrative support, or customer service is perfect.
Language Skills: Proficiency or fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a major plus for communicating with various team leads and global operations. This, however, is optional and only preferable.
Software Basics: Comfortable using standard office software (Excel, Google Workspace) and excited to learn how to operate an ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
Ownership Mentality: You don't need to be micro-managed. You are self-driven, reliable, and comfortable wearing a few different hats in a startup environment.
Compensation: Hourly. This is negotiable.
