Our client, a mission driven nonprofit is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis with a potential to extend or convert to permanent in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:

Provide support to the COO (60%) and CPO (40%), including complex calendar management, scheduling, inbox management, meeting coordination, and executive communications

Act as a gatekeeper by managing priorities, protecting leadership time, tracking action items, and maintaining executive to-do lists

Draft emails, meeting materials, presentations, briefing documents, board-related materials, and meeting minutes

Coordinate travel, expense reporting, document management, and administrative workflows
-
Create and maintain organized filing systems, trackers, and documentation in SharePoint and Microsoft 365

Handle highly confidential HR, finance, legal, governance, board, and personnel information with discretion

Improve executive processes, workflows, and organizational systems to support leadership operations
About You:
-
1+ years of executive, administrative, or project coordination support experience
-
Strong experience with calendar management, scheduling, meeting support, and executive administration

Advanced Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills
-
Experience using AI productivity tools in a professional setting required
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, judgment, and discretion

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities
About The Position:

$23-$26/hr

Permanent Salary: $53K-$60K

Temporary assignment (6-9 months) with potential to extend or convert to permanent

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
