We're opening a brand-new storefront in Redondo Beach and we're looking for someone who can lead the charge in-store while we build our presence on the California coast. The Role We're looking for a Retail Store Manager to set the tone for TOP TIER customer service and brings our store to life. 100%
Focused on smooth operations in the store and with our overall team. You'll drive profitable sales growth across every part of the retail operation: day-to-day store operations, merchandising, purchasing and procurement, team development, and marketing. You'll report directly to ownership and play a key role in executing our store strategy to hit performance goals. Through close collaboration with the executive team, you'll coach and develop our retail staff into a high performing crew that delivers a best-in-class experience to every customer who walks through the door.
What You'll Do:
- Lead daily retail operations at our Redondo Beach location, ensuring smooth, efficient store performance — largely independently, with regular check-ins with ownership
- • Drive merchandising strategy to showcase our products and maximize sales
- • Assist purchasing and procurement to keep inventory aligned with local demand
- • Hire, train, and develop retail staff, building a motivated and knowledgeable team
- • Create and manage employee schedules to ensure the store is properly staffed at all times
- • Coach and mentor employees to deliver exceptional, brand-aligned customer service
- • Support business development and marketing initiatives, both in-store and online
- • Collaborate with the executive team to execute store strategy and hit performance goals

- What We're Looking For
- • Retail Management Experience is A MUST.
- • A genuine passion for the California Ocean lifestyle, ocean activities, beach culture, or coastal living is nice but NOT necessary.
- • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high performing customer centric teams, including hands-on hiring and scheduling
- • Self-starter who thrives working independently with minimal day-today oversight
- • Comfort with merchandising, inventory management, and purchasing decisions
- • Excellent customer service instincts and the ability to model that for a team
- • Marketing or business development experience is a plus
- • Ability to work full-time, with flexibility for retail hours (weekends/evenings as needed)
