Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Waterjet Operator to join our production team in Denver, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for operating waterjet cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull raw materials based on layouts and load them onto the waterjet cutting table
- Set up and adjust machine parameters according to material type and design specifications
- Operate waterjet equipment, occasionally managing multiple machines simultaneously
- Remove finished parts and organize them according to routers and work orders
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers
- Accurately process and track parts in the system to ensure proper workflow progression
- Conduct light preventative maintenance, including refilling abrasive materials (sand)
- Remove scrap and excess material using a forklift when necessary
- Assist with creating cutting layouts using nesting software as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous waterjet or CNC machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and routers
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and repetitive motion
- Must be able to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, industrial environment
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st & 2nd shift available
Pay: $26 - $29/hour
