Job Summary
Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Busser/Barback, where your energy and attention to detail will elevate the guest experience! In this dynamic role, you’ll support the front-of-house operations by maintaining a clean and inviting environment, assisting bartenders and servers, and ensuring smooth service flow. Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new guests
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glassware, ice, and beverages to keep the bar fully equipped
- Change and rotate kegs using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, dining spaces, and service stations through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
- Remove trash to dumpster
- Wipe up any spills or broken glassware to ensure a dry and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Periodically check restrooms for stocking needs
- Report any quality issues to the Manager
- Observe and report any personnel or guest concerns to the Manager
- Follow all food handling safety protocols and uphold high standards of hygiene in accordance with health regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Requirements
- Must be available nights and weekends
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly and occasionally lift/push/pull/move objects weighing more than 165lbs (full kegs of beer are heavy)
- Experience working in high volume restaurant enhances your candidacy
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this energetic team role
- Prior experience as a busser/barback in the food industry can provide valuable foundation skills for this position
