PURPOSE: Responsible to ensure all patrons are about to “Chill out and have a beer.” The Bartender and Server are the ambassadors for the Fat Head’s experience. Beertenders can Serve, and Servers can Beertend. When you are beertending, you provide information about each beer, make recommendations, and pour appropriately. When you are serving you are providing information about food and beer pairings, and bringing orders out to tables.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service
· Take and submit customer orders
· Check patron IDs for minimum drinking age requirements
· Answer questions about menu items or beers
· Resolve any patron issues quickly and professionally
· Provide superior food and beverage service
· Pour beer and make cocktails
· Itemize bills and collect payments
Daily Operations
· Clean and prep tables, bar, and counters
· Stock service supplies
· Remove dishes from counters, bar and tables
· Maintain clean and organized service stations
· Keep condiments and utensils replenished
· Clear service items
Safety
· Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers’ excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, providing water, or ordering transportation for intoxicated patrons
· Attend all required Safety Trainings
· Exceed Safety standards during daily operations

REQUIREMENTS:
· Beertenders must be age 21 or over
· Servers must be age 21 or over
· Prior customer service experience preferred
· High School Diploma or equivalent; will accept relevant work experience in place of education
· Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
· Obsessive attention to detail and record keeping

· Work is primarily performed in the restaurant within a Brewery Production facility. This job operates beer taps, coffee machine, cash register and other restaurant equipment. May be exposed to temperature changes, wet or humid conditions, noise, vibrations, and other brew production related hazards when in the brew production and storage areas.
· Will require frequent night, holiday and weekend work
