Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Assist customers with product demos to highlight features and benefits effectively
- Upsell additional products or services to meet customer needs and increase sales
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organized
- Handle stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and managing inventory levels accurately
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
- Support cashiering duties including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end
- Provide product knowledge related to grocery store items or retail merchandise to guide customer choices
- Ensure compliance with store policies, including safety protocols and cleanliness standards
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration abilities
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances performance in this role
