We are looking for a warehouse worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities at Husky Bicycles, a 25 year old distribution company. Responsibilities include bicycle and tricycle assembly, storing materials, picking, packing, warehouse cleaning, inventory stocking, and truck loading/unloading. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Assemble Bicycles and Tricycles for customers
- Assemble Bicycle Wheels
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Skills
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker, factory worker, or similar
- Mechanical aptitude and/or bicycle repair experience
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift 70+ lbs
- High school diploma
- Part-time hours are 8:30am-2:00pm or 1:00pm-5:00pm
