Overview
The Weekday Facility Coordinator reports to the Director of Programs and Recovery Support Managers and is responsible for the general oversight of the Step Springs facility and its residents, Monday through Friday evenings, and also assists with the initial intake process.
Primary Responsibilities:
● Manage incoming calls regarding the Step facility.
● Manage all resident reporting and business support functions.
● Provide all relevant resident documents to Recovery Support Managers and Director of Programs daily, and as needed.
● Coordinate intake of all new Residents, inclusive of drug screening, admissions paperwork, personal belongings search, documentation of identification, orientation, and tour of the facility, and complete documentation of resident information for database entry.
● Accept and sort any clothing donations brought into the facility.
● Ensure that all residents have returned to the facility for the day, no earlier than the allowed entry and no later than curfew.
● Collection and documentation of resident fees as they are submitted between the set times.
● Confirm that any resident leaving on a weekend pass is approved on the request form.
● Provide the residents with commendations or consequences when and where necessary with respect to their adherence to the rights, responsibilities, and rules of the facility.
● Administer urinalysis and breathalyzer tests to residents as required.
● Document all facility and resident information in the Daily Shift Report.
● Assist with resident peer coaching.

● Propose new ideas for programmatic improvements to management.
● Return phone calls, e-mails, and correspondence in a timely manner.
● Immediately advise the supervisor of significant and unexpected problems.
● Promote and demonstrate teamwork and cooperation.
● Completes assignments, projects, reports, and paperwork accurately and timely.
● Safeguard all Step Springs property.
● Follow and enforce all of Step Denver’s policies and procedures. Act in a safe manner at all times.
● Act as a good steward of program funds & resources.
● Work flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays if required, with the compensation of additional time off to maintain a healthy life balance.
● Drive safely and maintain all necessary personal insurance while on company business.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● Must be proficient in the computer programs of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
● It is preferred that the employee is a graduate of the Step Springs Program.
● Must be in recovery from the disease of addiction, working a program for that recovery, and have at least 6 months of continuous sobriety.
● If the employee relapses, it may be grounds for termination.
● Must be willing to participate in the Urinalysis and Breathalyzer programs.
● Candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check with no history of violence in their personal background.
