Job Summary
Turlock Music Academy is seeking Music Instructors that have choral, strings, or a percussion background. Our Music Academy works with K-12 music students and adults. A candidate with a passion for music and teaching are highly desired. The ideal candidate will be teaching music lessons one-to-one or in small groups. Music instructors will receive paid training and internship positions will also be paid.
Responsibilities
- Instructing students in basic to intermediate musicianship skills.
- Playing piano, percussion, or a stringed instrument during lessons.
- Singing and Sight reading classical and contemporary pieces.
- Speaking with parents and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Prepping students for recitals and music exams.
Experience
- Working with children and adults
- Playing a team sport or practicing martial arts
- Music Student (High School or College)
- Performance or Public Speaking
- AA or BA in Music (Highly Desired)
