About the Role
As a Lead Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will serve as a critical technical resource for our facility, ensuring the seamless operation of complex machinery through expert electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. You will play a vital role in maximizing equipment uptime and operational efficiency by applying your advanced knowledge of 3-phase power, PLC systems, and industrial automation.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive electrical and mechanical repairs, including 480V systems, motors, pumps, and conveyors, to minimize production downtime.

Diagnose and resolve complex issues within PLC-controlled equipment and industrial electrical circuits using advanced testing instrumentation.

Perform proactive preventive maintenance, including lubrication, calibration, and component replacement, to extend the lifespan of critical assets.

Interpret intricate blueprints and wiring diagrams to facilitate successful new equipment installations and system upgrades.

Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures and OEM specifications.

Manage inventory by requisitioning necessary parts and maintaining a highly organized, safe workspace.

Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate technical status updates and resolve operational bottlenecks effectively.
Qualifications-
High School Diploma or GED; technical school certification is highly valued.

Proven expertise in electrical systems diagnostics, including 3-phase power and PLC troubleshooting.

Proficiency with precision measuring tools, hand tools, and standard electrical testing equipment.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on off-shifts.

Computer literacy, including experience with CMMS platforms and desktop applications.

Hands-on experience with pneumatics, welding, and metal fabrication.

Advanced ability to read and interpret complex mechanical and electrical schematics.

Experience maintaining specialized machinery such as extrusion or thermoforming equipment.
