CDL Delivery Driver – Bulk Fuel, Lubricants, Drums & Cases

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Delivery Driver to join our bulk fuel and lubricants delivery team. This position is responsible for transporting and delivering fuel, oils, lubricants, drums, packaged goods, cases, and related products to commercial, agricultural, industrial, and/or residential customers.
The ideal candidate will have a Class A or Class B CDL, a strong safety record, and experience operating delivery equipment. Hazmat and tanker endorsements are preferred, and experience with bulk fluid pumping, drum handling, and packaged product delivery is highly recommended.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks for bulk fuel, oil, lubricant, drum, case, and packaged product deliveries.
- Load, transport, pump, and unload bulk liquids at customer locations.
- Deliver and handle drums, cases, pails, totes, and other packaged lubricant or fuel-related products.
- Use proper lifting, rolling, hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, or other material-handling procedures when moving drums and cases.
- Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations.
- Complete delivery tickets, logs, inspection reports, and other required paperwork accurately.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain clean and safe equipment.
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
- Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, bulk fluids, drums, and packaged products.
- Communicate with dispatch, management, and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Assist with general warehouse, yard, inventory, or equipment duties as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and delivery equipment.
- Ability to lift, move, roll, and handle drums, cases, pails, totes, and packaged products.
- Ability to lift, pull, climb, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to pass required drug and alcohol testing.
- Must meet DOT driver requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hazmat endorsement.
- Tanker endorsement.
- Previous experience delivering fuel, oil, lubricants, propane, chemicals, or other bulk liquids.
- Experience with bulk fluid pumping, hose handling, meters, pumps, and product transfer equipment.
- Experience handling drums, cases, pails, totes, and packaged lubricant products.
- Forklift, pallet jack, or material-handling experience.
- Mechanical aptitude or basic equipment troubleshooting experience.
Work Environment
This position involves operating commercial vehicles, handling hoses and pumping equipment, moving drums and cases, working outdoors, and delivering bulk and packaged products to a variety of customer locations. Safety, professionalism, accuracy, and proper material handling are essential.
