Responsibilities
- Assist customers by providing product demonstrations, explaining features, and recommending suitable marine equipment or accessories.
- Manage sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while ensuring accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Engage customers with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Facilitate portering duties such as moving equipment or inventory within the facility to ensure smooth operations.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills when coordinating with team members and providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Support inventory management through regular stock checks and accurate record keeping.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within an outdoor sporting goods environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math is essential.
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
