Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while managing critical and complex patient conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of ER travel experience
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- Strong IV therapy, IV start, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring skills
- Ability to pass Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams
- Strong English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC Certification preferred
- ENPC Certification preferred
- PALS Certification preferred
- De-escalation Certification preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate and current patient records
- Coordinate patient care plans with healthcare team members
- Provide patient and family education
- Function as charge nurse and clinical resource when needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital safety and infection control policies
- Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities
- Support ancillary staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients and families
