Diesel Mechanic – Apex Transit
We’re hiring an experienced diesel mechanic for steady, year-round work. If you can diagnose and fix trucks without guessing, we want to talk.
What you’ll be doing:
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks
- Work on air brake systems, engines, and component replacements
- Use diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues properly
- Keep equipment safe and FMCSA compliant
What we need:
- Minimum 2 years heavy-duty truck experience
- Strong diagnostic ability (not just parts swapping)
- Air brake experience required (ASE T4 is a plus)
- Attention to detail and safety
- Able to handle physical work (lifting, standing, tight spaces)
- Own tools + reliable transportation
