Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced and dependable Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, and shares our passion for great food and great people.
You’ll prepare menu items to standard, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure every dish leaving the kitchen reflects the care and quality The Table is known for.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items consistently and efficiently during service hours
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Assist with prep work, daily station setup, and breakdown
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and front-of-house staff
- Manage food inventory and minimize waste
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Contribute ideas for menu specials or improvements
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred (breakfast/lunch experience a plus)
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and team-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety standards
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Availability for early morning and weekend shifts
