About the Role
The Floor Manager leads the guest experience by championing service excellence, team development, and front-of-house leadership. This person sets the tone for hospitality on every shift—ensuring each guest feels welcomed, valued, and delighted. The Floor Manager oversees daily service operations, staff performance, and guest flow, embodying Moodswing’s core values through every interaction.
Job Summary
We're seeking a hands-on, guest-focused leader to oversee front-of-house operations and elevate the service experience. The Floor Manager ensures consistent execution of service standards, guest recovery, and communication between teams. This role is ideal for someone who loves people, thrives in a high-energy environment, and leads by example.
Because we're a dynamic, multi-faceted venue, this role may also grow to include supporting other areas of our operation. Depending on our needs, you may assist with oversight of our pickleball and coffee programs, social media, community event coordination, and our overall food and beverage offerings. We're looking for someone versatile who's excited to pitch in wherever they can make an impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Leadership
- Drives guest satisfaction by leading with energy, presence, and passion for hospitality.
- Ensures Moodswing’s service standards are executed consistently across all shifts.
- Engages with guests on the floor, resolving feedback promptly and ensuring a positive outcome.
- Monitors and responds to Guest Satisfaction Survey (GSS) feedback, implementing improvement plans where needed.
Service Operations & Training
- Oversees daily floor operations, guest check-in flow, and reservation integration to ensure seamless experiences.
- Conducts regular training sessions for service staff, reinforcing culture, standards, and communication expectations.
- Performs food and service audits to ensure quality, consistency, and safety.
- Collaborates with culinary and beverage teams to test and suggest menu adjustments and LTOs quarterly.
Team Development & Performance
- Leads with charisma and positivity, setting the tone for team morale and professionalism.
- Conducts quarterly performance reviews, provides coaching, and identifies growth opportunities for staff.
- Recognizes and celebrates team achievements, fostering an environment of inclusion and accountability.
- Supports new hire onboarding and ensures team members feel confident, informed, and inspired.
Operational Excellence
- Assists with scheduling, staffing plans, and shift coverage to maintain balanced operations.
- Partners with leadership to manage communication, feedback loops, and process improvements.
- Maintains cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all health and service regulations.
- Stays informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to keep service fresh and innovative.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of front-of-house (FOH) leadership experience in hospitality or restaurant management.
- Strong understanding of guest service standards, table management, and flow optimization.
- Proven ability to coach and develop service teams in a high-volume environment.
- Experience interpreting GSS or guest feedback data and implementing improvements.
- Knowledge of current service trends, dining technology, and competitive market awareness.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $55,000–$60,000 annually, plus bonus
