Subsidiary: Steel Dynamics Overview:
Perform maintenance on all overhead cranes in the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Rotating shift work including nights and weekends

Electrical trouble shooting and repair

Basic PLC trouble shooting
-
Knowledge of AC inverters
-
Ability to read prints & schematics
-
Welding, cutting and fabrication
-
Ability to work without direct supervision
-
Work with operations and maintenance groups to ensure continued production

Good computer skills (Experience with computerized maintenance management system a plus)

Outstanding work record.

Good physical condition

Must be willing to work unscheduled overtime when required due to breakdowns & outages.
Qualifications:
- Safety oriented

Prior electrical maintenance is necessary

Strong teamwork focus

High School diploma or equivalent

Prior Knowledge of the use of fall restraint devices

Strong willingness to learn

Excellent communication skills including ability to log activities in a database.

Ability to multi-task & prioritize work assignments with production needs

Ability to operate equipment in a safe manner.
