Head Start Recruitment Coordinator- Pro Action’s Birth-to-5 Head Start Program is looking for a full-time Recruitment Coordinator to provide ongoing support to the ERSEA Specialist with eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and transitions which complies with Federal Head Start Performance Standards, NYS Universal Pre-Kindergarten regulations as related to school district partnerships and NYS OCFS Day Care Regulations.
Essential functions of the coordinator include effective marketing strategies and materials for recruitment of Head Start families, attending recruitment activities, and maintaining accurate and current databases with enrollment information. The coordinator is required to maintain working knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, local written plans and policies and Pro Action policies and procedures.

Associate’s degree in human services, social work, psychology or related field or equivalent with experience in a related field of work.

This position requires successful background checks and maintaining a driver’s license that meets agency standards.
