About The Position:
The Account Representative is responsible for servicing current and/or delinquent auto loan accounts and documenting all activities utilizing our loan servicing software.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Uphold company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
- Work with Senior Account Representatives to facilitate payment arrangements with borrowers.
- Work with Senior Account Representative to assist borrowers in devising a strategy to allow them to keep their vehicle while meeting the obligations of the loan.
- Accurately document account information and collection activities.
- Locate borrowers through the use of databases and references.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, disciplined, and have a strong work ethic.
- College or University Degree in related field preferred
- Experience working with auto-dialer systems is preferred, but not required.
- Skip-tracing experience is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 1 year collections in subprime financing experience is required.
- Full Time Work Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
- Note: This is not a remote position, all hours are worked on site at our location in Knoxville, TN.
