General:
At Diamond Pharmacy Services, our company culture is built on respect, care, focus and quality. Our Correctional Sales Account Executive, are responsible for bringing in new business, attending industry tradeshows and adding value added services to local and county correctional facilities across the United States. In addition, this role requires researching industry trends, setting meetings with prospects and servicing existing accounts. Sales Account Executives will uncover the needs and wants of the prospects and educate them on how Diamond Pharmacy can improve their day-to-day processes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Develops Sales Cadence Strategy which includes cold calling facilities, attending conferences, state by state prospecting plan and trade shows.
2. Invests the time and effort to achieve the established goals, for the target territory, focusing on Correctional facilities. (New Sales/Tradeshows 75% and Customer Service 25% of effort)
3. Independent Sales Executive can additionally cross promote Medical Supply, Repacking and Wholesale distribution.
4. Assists with procurement process: when appropriate, provide sample RFP to potential customer to aid with RFP development, proactively collect information to assist with proposal development, ensure that county decision-makers “know” Diamond and representatives.
5. Initiate set-up calls with Executive Pharmacists and Executive Admin to share relevant information in regards to each facility brought on by the Independent sales team.
6. Maintains the required technical expertise in medical supplies and pharmacy services including policies and procedures.
7. Interacts in a professional and effective manner with peers and office support staff.
8. Responsible for the timely submission of Price study invoices and follow-up to contract submission
9. Maintains a working knowledge of state and federal Medicaid and Medicare laws and DEA regulations.
10. Maintains a professional image with appropriate physical appearance and refined manner of speech.
11. Position requires 75% travel, networking, phone calls, trade show attendance nationwide.
12. Completes other duties as assigned.
13. Maintains the confidentiality of all patient and company information.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma
Graduate of College/University preferred degree in Marketing
Experience/Knowledge:
* Ability to work under stress to accomplish deadlines
* Detail oriented
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High degree of accuracy for detail work
* Ability to organize one’s own work
* Reliability and Honesty
