Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including flatbed and tractor-trailer operations. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while transporting Equipment to designated locations.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload equipment as necessary, utilizing forklift equipment when required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck to uphold company standards.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for vehicle type.
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
