Physical Therapist (PT) – School-Based
Pueblo, CO | 2026–2027 School Year | Actively hiring a Physical Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year in Pueblo, CO. This is a full-time (4 day weeks), onsite position working with a K–12 caseload based on district needs. New grads and travelers are both encouraged to apply.
Position Details:
Full-time - 4 day work week (32.5 hours per week)
2026–2027 school year
K–12 caseload (placement based on experience)
Onsite role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services aligned with student IEPs or 504 plans
- Conduct assessments of gross motor skills, functional mobility, balance, strength, and postural control
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote inclusive participation and support classroom goals
- Design, implement, and modify individualized therapy interventions, including recommendations for adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Document all services, maintain records, monitor progress, and actively engage in IEP/504 meetings and school-based initiatives
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
Active Colorado PT license - Or willingness to obtain before school year
Bilingual candidates preferred, but not required
School-based experience is a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
$55–$65 per hour based on experience
