We seek a high integrity person to grow our dynamic construction team in the Central Virginia Region.
Our Assistant Superintendent needs to be a collaborative team player, have the ability to problem solve, get along with co-workers well, and be willing to think outside the box.
Description of Role:
- Assist in ensuring home construction is on time and on budget and compliant with local regulations and corporate quality standards.
- Improve production pace results through active site management, clear communication, and subcontractor accountability.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with Supervisor and Homes Team.
Responsibilities / Expectations / Essential Tasks:
- Delivery of Quality Homes to our Customers at every walkthrough.
- Execute subcontractor and vendor schedules as directed by Superintendent.
- Ensure work is performed to our standards.
- Assist in supervising home sites under Superintendent's direction.
- Support in resolving day-to-day problems, escalate when help is needed.
- Inspect all work during construction to ensure quality and compliance with plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
- Maintain clean and presentable job sites to company standards.
- Perform safety Inspections when applicable.
- Prepare job sites for next trade.
- Procure and deliver materials to job site as needed.
Compensation will be based on experience with the ability to grow within our organization.
