Key Responsibilities Landscape Help
- Operate commercial equipment: Use mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and hedge clippers safely.
- Install landscape features: Plant trees, shrubs, and flowers according to design plans.
- Perform ground maintenance: Mow lawns, weed beds, edge perimeters, and spread mulch or loam.
- Execute hardscape prep: Dig trenches, move heavy materials, and assist with paver or retaining wall installation.
- Maintain site safety: Clean up debris, pack tools, and ensure worksites remain organized.
- Qualifications & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation to the main shop or designated job sites.
- Previous landscaping experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Key Responsibilities Nursery Help
- Provide daily plant care: Water, prune, weed, and fertilize plants according to specific species needs.
- Manage nursery inventory: Pot seedlings, repot growing stock, and space containers for optimal growth.
- Load and unload shipments: Safely move plant orders onto trucks using wheelbarrows, carts, or hand trucks.
- Maintain nursery grounds: Keep walkways clear, organize plant beds, and assist with greenhouse maintenance.
- Assist customers: Help clients locate specific plants and load purchases into their vehicles.
