Our company is a manufacturer and distributor of welded and machined components for the light and medium duty trailer market. We are looking for a full-time Welder to work with our production and engineering team. This is a “hands on” position, working side by side with our production staff.
Responsibilities:
· Reading and understanding blueprints / product specifications prior to starting a project.
· Organizing workspace prior to starting production.
· Measuring and cutting materials to specification.
· Welding materials using the correct methods to join metals together.
· Checking finished work to make sure it falls within the tolerances published for each project.
· All welding is performed by hand.
· Welding method is solid wire MIG.
· Raw materials to be welded are carbon steel.
Requirements:
· 2+ years of production welding experience.
· Must be able to perform as part of a team in a production manufacturing and welding environment.
· A welding proficiency test will be required, administered internally and on-site at the employer.
· Be able to operate basic measuring equipment and hand tools.
· Must be able to work independently as well as in a team structure.
· Must have strong technical and mechanical aptitude; and enjoy working in a production environment.

· Compensation consistent with experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
