Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions with accuracy, including basic math calculations for bills and tips.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and beverages to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially within fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus, along with retail math proficiency.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting enhances your ability to serve specialty drinks confidently.
