Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Handyman / Construction professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across various projects. Your expertise will help ensure that all facilities and structures are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. Duties
- Perform general repairs and maintenance on buildings, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately.
- Install and repair fixtures, cabinetry, doors, windows, flooring, tile, and trim carpentry components.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation or material handling as needed.
- Execute concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, stucco application, and restoration projects.
- Manage small-scale remodeling projects including drywall installation, plastering, caulking, roofing repairs, and hardscape work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong background in carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (concrete finishing, bricklaying), roofing, plumbing, electrical work or related trades is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform construction estimating and manage construction management tasks is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction inspection standards and safety protocols to ensure quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; certification in relevant trade areas is advantageous.
